Carmine Red. Tan interior. Manual/Overdrive. This is a matching numbers car. Good history file.

 

This is a very original Triumph Stag that has been well cared for by its previous owner. It has only covered only 1600 miles in the last 6 years and it has always been garaged in that time.

This Triumph Stag is a very genuine car that has been well maintained. Throughout this car is very good/good. The body is very solid and the paintwork to the sides has been long established (many years) and shows no signs of any movement/rust, the car has previously been wax oiled, The front wings were replaced many years ago and all four wheel arches are in a very sound condition as is most of the car and this should be your impression, much of the paintwork has some age and so has some minor imperfections but overall the paintwork/car presents very well. It does not come with a Hardtop but we may have one available: Please ask for details. The bumpers were re-chromed previously, we hope the photographs will demonstrate the body condition.

The mechanics are in very good/good order, It starts and drives very well indeed and this should be your impression, the engine holds a good steady temperature, it was recently serviced by the last owner in June 2016 at 93,725 miles that is approx. 350 miles ago, the current mileage is 94,064 and additionally the car has just been through our workshops, the full list of the work carried out is listed below. We have driven this car approx. 80 miles and can say it drives very well with everything operating correctly and this should be your impression.

 

The interior is still in its original seat covers and is in good condition (please see the photographs), some seat foams were recently replaced and the work details are listed below. The hood and hood frame are in very good shape and operate well, even the original electric clock still works.

 

This Triumph Stag has been through our workshops and had the following work carried out.

New Clutch master cylinder. Brake fluid change. Valve shims checked and adjusted. Wheel bearings adjusted. New air filter. Air filter box resprayed and new date sticker. Gearbox oil changed. New driver’s seat rear backrest foam swabs. New Headrest foams. Other minor items attended to as required.

 

In summary this is a well sorted and maintained Triumph Stag with very good ownership. It is in a desirable colour/interior/gearbox combination. It is a very genuine car with its original engine (matching numbers). The condition is good/very good throughout and it could be driven away today.
